I would like to find someone who wants to do a joint venture to develop a piece of shareware. I have the basic idea. We collaborate on it. You write. I market it and fund it. We share profit. This would be a cross platform app but ideally would start with ipod, itunes (is this possible) and/or with other mainstream music playing applications like ram, wmv, mp3. For instance if ipod is a no go, it could still run on windows and pull data from the music files; likewise from a pda. I have an LLC to run the book on. It would be a legitimate enterprise. I'll pay you $500 on completion of the software. I get the first $500 in revenue from shareware, after that we split 50/50. What skills would you need? If you are able to design a program that creates random, shuffle play lists by category, then you could do this project (that's not the idea, but that's about all it involves). Of course, designing a great GUI goes a long way to, so graphic design plays a big part. Finally if you consider yourself a great marketer that would help us make $$$ too. Alternatively we could launch it is our own website. Check out something like [login to view URL] They hit a homerun.
Let me know if you're interested. If you have a cv to attach or links to website, that would be appreciated, especially if you have had any success/failures with shareware before.
Hi, the project looks interesting and as a former Apple enginer, i could be of big help. Don't you think?
Why don't get a Ph.D. into it if you can pay him the same that any newcomer would charge you? That's is exactly what i am offering you. The brain power of a Ph.D. at the cost of someone that barely can read php.
