Looking for an experienced Java developer. Some basic knowledge of SQL required. Knowledge of MySQL server would be helpful. Please note that this is just a standard Java project. Not a Web project. Strong Java skills are important. Should be familiar with Maven. Basic knowledge of Git. Not essential but basic knowledge of Selenium Webdriver might be useful. This job posting refers only to the first phase of this project. If successful, there will be at least 4 more phases until the project goes into Production. The work is 95% Java and 5% SQL - except for a minor task that will require configuring MySQL server. We're in almost the same timezone, so we could do stand-ups either around 7AM or after 6PM. I can work 2-3 hours a day on workdays in the evenings and up to 6 hours Saturday and Sunday. Hi there Let me answer your questions first. 1) I've been developing in Java since 2003, and I'm ready for anything in core Java. Please view my profile. The last project I developed was a ERP application in Java with Spring Framework. Among other technologies we also used Selenium WD for test automation. 2) I am a DBA since 2011 developed many data intensive project, so I would say that my SQL knowledge is very strong. 3) I am flexible on time, I can work on weekend as well. However, currently I am available for 20hrs per week. For later phases, I may be available full time if needed. 4) 10 mins catch-up is great, I'm presuming some sort of daily standups.
