I am attempting to re-create the “Rolls Royce Serenity” interior. I have started by painting the headliner to a powder blue with a special fabric paint. The result isn’t quite what I was hoping for, there are brush strokes visible, and I ran out of paint before I could finish. Some spots the paint is thinner, and the original gray headliner shows through. I would like to create another batch of the fabric paint, and go over everything once again. After doing so, I would like to add floral artwork, and if possible carry the artwork throughout the dashboard, door panels and seats with leather paint. When I first started, I did some test painting of the sun visors. Which turned out more turquoise than blue. To soften it up, I mixed a new batch with more white. (This is a special fabric paint, so I haven’t taped up any edges… the excess paint that ends up on other surfaces peels off very easily! If you are nervous about how the outcome will look, I can promise you that you can’t make it any worse than I already have :)
