Hello. I develop abd support installers for about 10 years. Currectly I work with CherryPlayer mediaplayer creating and supporting for them usual, portable, web and silent instllers. I use NSIS install system. Wix is relatively exotic instally, yes, probably mostly compatible with Visual Studio but NSIS has much more ready solutions, big community and so on. Regards.
