Internal tool for my clients to easily download a particular manifest/playlist of segments and the segments themselves in the native .ts/fmp4 formats. The idea is to track the download speed but able to download and preserve the relative URLs (may require some parsing and concatenating the URLs of the segments) so that it can be uploaded to a cloud storage or CDN for streaming.
Need someone that is familiar with HLS and DASH specs, or at least know what they're looking at when they look into the streaming manifests.
Able to work with static manifests (pre-segmented streaming chunks) and able to request and parse dynamically generated manifests (as such produced by Wowza, Unified Streaming, or Azure Media Services dynamic packaging streaming endpoints).
Bonus if you've used Azure Media Services before. This is a VERY simple job for someone who's experienced. I'd like to possibly turn this into a publically accessible tool.
With some similarities to: [login to view URL]
-- but Online browser-based web tool and free.
Need to also test with DRM segments (don't need to playback) - again, able to parse the master manifest, and provide a mechanism to select which of the bitrates to download (one or all), and then time the download speed. Perhaps provide a log or some way to report connection speed, versus download speed, and latency.
I'm fairly new to this site, and was told there's a lot of auto-bid systems. Quotes and proposals that seem that way will be ignored.
In your proposal, please submit what your hourly rate would be if you would like to continue to contract and maintain the site or do other similar work.
Thanks!
