Hi guys, we are manufacturers of lighting products and would like to offer our customers and potential customers for a special project a product configurator for our products. In the best case we have the following speficfications for the realization of our idea: 1. The configurator should, for example, be inspired by function and design to that of automobile manufacturers. The configurator should be integrated into our website (currently website on Wordpress basis, if problematic please indicate and suggest solution). The configurator should of course work well in all current browsers, have low loading times, no installation of additional plugins required by the web site visitor to avoid confusion / deterrence and ensure a good fluid performance. In addition, it should work on mobile devices (responsive or as a separate app, whichever is cheaper). Maybe on the basis of Unity, o2c or better WebGL for the aforementioned reasons? Or other? 3. The design of the user interface (GUI), the background / environment and the type of product placement can be specified by us or adapted to our corporate design. In the best case, the design can even be adjusted by us (basic understanding and knowledge with programming languages ​​and web techniques exists). 4. Functions: 360° product rotation, zoom, be able to click on different parts of the product and choose material / color of the individual parts (depending on the product approx. 2-7 different parts selectable and approx. 10-20 different colors / materials in total changeable per part) 5. If possible, we would like to create the required 3D data of a new product by ourselfs according to your instructions from our CAD software or Cinema4D data and to enter it into the configurator or via an interface (knowledge available in eg SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Cinema4D, or 3Ds as well as knowledge of subdivision-surface-modeling in C4D). 6. We would like to enter the data of our products and their variants ourselfs. For eg. using an input mask or a spreadsheet to get them into the configurator according to your instructions. 7. How the configurator should work: the configurator can be loaded quickly with a short loading bar. The customer should now be able to choose a product series, then a special product of this series (eg pendant light) a color of the parts (eg. aluminum part glossy black lacquered) to their wish, if necessary, they can also click on additional options (eg RGB ambietal lighting, remote control, installation service ...) and you will get a live info of the total cost. If he agrees with the product and the price, he is given the option to place an order (order button), to enter his data in a popup-windows (eg name, delivery address, etc.), to choose a payment method, to make a payment (eg Paypal, credit cards...) and complete the order. Then thank you from us. 8. Now we need an info with all the data (probably in the form of an email) that an order has been received in order for us to start processing it. We would be happy to recive an infomation if our idea can be realized, how much time it will take, how the process with you would look like and how much it will cost us.
