Firebase function to compress videos

Hi there, I am an expert in Firebase Cloud Functions. Here are are my thoughts on your project: 1. Cloud Function is not a suitable environment for video compression. Reasons include time (video compression takes time and depends on file size) and most importantly, lack of native libraries (most Node.js packages for compression uses ffmpeg, fluent-ffmpeg, theora, libav) for this which, are Linux libraries and unusable for Cloud Function. Based on that, I believe I can develop a Node.js script that you can run on your laptop or on a VPS or Compute Engine Linux host machine. The script will compress the video and then save it (or send download link for compressed file) as required. I can add nginx so you can use the returned download link to download. No UI or front end app. Just a simple program and Nginx (if required). Let me know what you think of my proposal. Thanks for your time and consideration.
