The purpose of this project is to build out a Github repository that functions as a directory of real time event sources on the Internet.
Here are a few examples of Github repositories that functions as directories:
- Public Data Sets: [login to view URL]
- Public APIs: [login to view URL]
- Awesome Lists: [login to view URL]
The directory should include only high quality event sources that are real time (not pull APIs) and should be identified as free or paid. The best way to determine if something is high quality, is to read the Awesome Manifesto ([login to view URL]). If it is not awesome as defined in the manifesto, don't include it.
For example, these sources are awesome;
- [login to view URL]
- [login to view URL]
- [login to view URL]
These sources may or may not be awesome. You need to evaluate each one individually:
- [login to view URL]
