Security Surveillance System Overview: This website is going to be used to sell CCTV (cameras, DVR’s, cables, monitors) systems her in the Denver area first and foremost, and we would like to expand this website to reach the nation. We want our customers to feel comfortable when they arrive and want to stay. Many of the CCTV websites are cold feeling and very cramped with information. We want this one to be more pleasing to the eye, easy to use and navigate, and motivate a customer to purchase product. We will need a database connected to the website where we can easily change the pricing of the product when necessary. We would also like this website to focus on creating value for our perspective customers by providing them with needed information, but also educating them on the products themselves and how they work. Here is a breakdown of the general pages. I am sure there is more to it, but this is a basic overview. • Home page: (see last page for very basic visual example) o On home page, have graphics and brief explanation about how CCTV can help a business improve its operations:  Graphics displaying the ROI for businesses when they have a CCTV system: • Example: [login to view URL];DCMP=KNC-Google&mkwid=v0iqa6Rd&pcrid=6998176139&gclid=CLqO75nK0acCFcfsKgod7hcXDw o Have the home page designed with the blocking method that separates the different areas of the business, using pictures to symbolize each area. A good example of this format is: [login to view URL] Such as:  Individual Products  CCTV packages  Customize or build your own CCTV system  Technical Support  Our Customers  About Us o At the top would also be drop down menus for each page (either with pictures if possible of what is on that next page, or just words) Drop down menus – using graphics. Example: [login to view URL] o There would also be buttons to create or sign in to their account as well as shopping cart.  Shopping cart to purchase products. This needs to have the ability to have two pricing options: • General customer would pay a retail price • Installers/dealers would pay a wholesale price – once they create an account and log in. • Examples: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] o Contact info – phone, email, and Live chat ability, on every page. o Example of Live Chat ability: [login to view URL] • Individual Products page o On this page we will feature all of the products we have for sale. Plus some ideas of what various things look like in video format, or a link to a page with video examples:  Ability to have videos on a page that show how a system works, customer testimonials, recorded video of an actual cctv system • Example of video of CCTV system: [login to view URL] • Example of demo of a product: [login to view URL] • Show example of remote Access: o Example: [login to view URL] (towards bottom of page) o Feature individual products such as (could use the same blocking method as on the home page to separate the product lines into categories:  Cameras  DVRs  Cables  Power supplies  And many more o When someone clicks on one of the product line categories, it then takes them to a page with various choices of product within that product line. For example:  Cameras: • Bullet cameras • Boxed cameras • Dome cameras • Night vision cameras • IP cameras  There would be information about each product as well as pricing, and the option to click on that product to add it to their shopping cart. • CCTV packages Use the same blocking method as the home page for each of the below packages, with pictures in each block. Then someone can click on the block and it takes them to a page that gives more information and description of the packages, along with pricing information and the choice to click on add to my shopping cart
