We are a new company that provides a directory of events and workshops in our city. We are looking for an assistant who will be responsible for setting up and running the 'events in town' section of our facebook page. The specialist will need to do the following: - set up and run Facebook calendar plug-ins (must be able to do this without additional instructions from us). For an example refer to the link: [login to view URL] (preference will be given to a candidate who is able to set up and maintain a more elegant plug in then we provide in the link). In total 3 separate calendars will be installed for 3 different event themes. Preference will be given to a candidate who can suggest a more elegant calendar plug in. - communicate over Facebook with a selection of businesses with the aim of collecting their listings for workshops and events (about 50 businesses in total). - upload the information obtained from the businesses to the facebook calendar. - After the initial stage of the project, we can invite you to maintain Facebook events page, making regular announcements of the events (3-4 announcements per week, so this will be about 2 hours of work per week) In your bid please make an offer which calendar plug in you are able to set up and run. The candidate selection will be based on this step and on your communication skills (to be determined in the initial discussion and any information about your previous experience).
