Hi, I am a native English speaking Finance professional with over 15 years experience using Excel to build a variety of different models. I can help with your project. Some examples of spreadsheets I have developed before include: - Invoicing / quoting templates; - Pricing models to analyse new business profitability; - Sales and commission reporting tools. In each of these examples I used an "Input" sheet to enter assumptions - often with drop down boxes or character limitations imposed. They used data stored on other sheets to make the necessary calculations. Questions I have for your project are: - Do you have a current list of part numbers and pricing that is in Excel or CSV format? - If so, do you need a way to also update this sheet? - Are there any "rules" that need to be applied? (i.e. are there shipping charges which vary by distance or weight, or discounts for bulk purchases or anything else that would also need to be calculated)? Hello. I am not quite sure what you mean by "data block". Maybe you mean drop-down list so the user just clicks an item in the list and it is copied to a cell? In any case, I already have done a workbook for a company that sells lights. It contains a part number, dimensions, description, warehouse location, etc. They need labels printed when an item is selected, so I included a button that fills the label, then opens print preview. Then the user prints the label if he sees it looks OK. So I think that your project is simpler than this.
