I have gone through the description, all is clear.. just wanted to ask question about the function output, will it be a string showing shift name E.g "Lates " in case of "17:41" as current time or string showing (Date()+#15:00:00#) And (Date()+#23:00:00#) ?

Hello, This is a VBA function which i can create for you, and then it is called like this: Myfunction(yourfield) Then the output will be earlies, mates etc. Relevant Skills and Experience Hopefully the previous VBA solution was ok, other than the Odbc connection not working, making it more difficult!
