Prior knowledge of the commodities sector is useful We have a spreadsheet of around 1500 commodities and categories of commodity. The list contains a mixture of - Names - Abbreviations - Aliases Example of a commodity name: "iron ore plates" Example of a commodity category: fertilizer, iron ore Example of an abbreviation: fert (for fertilizer) Example of alias: fertilizer, fertiliser For both categories of commodity and just plain commodities names I need to deduplicate this list. All names, abbreviations and aliases for the same commodity or category should be put into separate cells in the same row of the spreadsheet. For each category or commodity, we also need the following columns added and filled in - Description of commodity or category. For example this can be copied from the top paragraph of wikipedia or the top of Google search result. - Wikipedia link
