I have a contact name and some pre-written messages in excel. I need the name to be used to search for a contact in whatsapp desktop (or web) and then the messages need to be copy and pasted and sent to the selected contact. This can be triggered at the click of a button and doesn't have to be in the background. I don't think this is possible in VBA alone and will require some VB script to be triggered or something. I'm working on windows 10 with excel 2016. I have some VBA capability so will be able to edit the code to make sure it points at the correct cells etc and set it up to be triggered by a button click.
