I have done a project exactly like this. A TV series was translated from Polish to English. The sub-titles, narration and dialogue had to be in English for screening to the UK market, so they had to be in flawless English. The dialogue had to be in colloquial English. This is where translators are at a disadvantage. I worked from the translated text, but had the video with a timeline as a backup. At times this was useful. When something was unclear, watching the footage helped to understand the meaning. I have also edited documents, magazine articles, and contracts translated from Russian, Ukrainian and Polish so I am very familiar with and good at this type of work. 24 hour delivery is completely acceptable.
