I am looking for someone to build me a basic force sensitive resistor system that transmits the data (pressure or no pressure) to an excel spreadsheet showing a 0 (no pressure) or 1 (pressure) this system will need to be scaleable if successful. A wireless option would be preferable but no necessary if cost becomes prohibative. This project is for the design of the system and the outline of hardware required (including suppliers details for the required hardware)

Hello, I am an electronics engineer with over 28 years experience, I could develop something for you that would suit. I propose using a strain gauge sensor with necessary signal conditioning fed into a small micro controller. This could connect to the computer either via USB or Bluetooth depending on how its designed. I would then write a small C# .NET application to read the sensor and save the results to an excel or plain text file. As you mention just 0 or 1 for now, however if you wish I could make it more meaningful by returning the exact pressure results if required. My bid price includes a working prototype.
