In past, I've worked on making prototype of adaptive harmonic filter and was successful in designing the main Hysteresis Current Controller part. It consisted of an H-bridge inverter along with microcontroller, that would generate any desired waveshape using switching of gates of the inverter. Fortunately, I was able to achieve it working with my group. When a sine/square/triangular wave was given as Voltage input to the controller through Function generator, the HCC would give almost the same waveshape at output in the form of current.
