My current site is Livestock.com. This is a high value domain name, and I want the platform to be able to handle volume and match the sophistication of the domain. My online classifieds marketplace is built on GeoCore MAX Auctions/Classifieds Management. We want to move to a more modern platform and robust platform. The UI looks dated on the frontend and the UX is clunky. There are manual tasks that need to be done ie. rotating images if they were uploaded in the wrong orientation - right now I have a VA doing this and I want to have no tasks like this on the new platform. The platform must have classifieds functionality, so users can post items for sale. First do an assessment of my website. Find where it is lacking (problems). Then, write a research paper weighing the Pros and Cons of each tech stack/platform and make recommendations and tell me how they would solve the problems. Looking for in depth research on which platform to move to and looking for the reasoning behind such a move. I believe there are suitable out of the box solutions. Price is not the main priority, I want quality. Price can be negotiated if you demonstrate you are the right freelancer for the job.

Thank you for looking at our bid. The site is already based on a popular classified script GeoCore MAX (but it does not seem to support PHP7+), kindly review my comments below: (1)The site has to move out of existing framework as PHP5 has reached EOL. (2)The site as such seems to offer all required features, they need to be carried over during future developments. (3)The user interface is outdated, needs to be modern, responsive. (4 )Scripts using latest technology/trends (React, Vue, Angular etc) - while we can migrate UI retaining existing backend. But the existing backend is obsolete, hence we need to find a complete framework offering complete migration. The challenge however would porting existing data and tweaking UI even if can find a newer framework. (5)It is better to find a classified templates/themes (e.g. Angular, React etc) from market places (e.g. Envato) and develop the backend from scratch. Not an easy task, but you will have all existing features and data intact, also a finer control on future developments. Please disregard our bid/price for now, just wanted to share my thoughts.
