I am looking for software to sort and match our data in the Excel files. It could be any addition to the Excel itself or separate software to enable sort and match data in the columns and put together match numbers in the same row. Data to match: 1) Column with just numbers of the products - ”Reference Number” numbers like CM633827 or 3562782 or 811615rg 2) Other columns contain same numbers in the names of the images files with extension “.jpg” like [login to view URL] and so on Developer must provide support for setup and instructions how use software or addition to the Excel Sources files all in Excel format and should be sort and match results in Excel format or other to enable convert back to Excel file. Project start time ASAP Below the sample of the table of the data should be done.

Hi, The matching process for the Reference No and the Image files are going to be a bit tricky but I can handle it based on my previous experience. Sample file with more data would be helpful for testing. My solution would be purely Excel based. User will have an user friendly interface to select the source file containing data. The code will automatically process and generate the results on a fresh Excel worksheet and saved separately. Let me know the Excel version you are using. Regards, Arul

Hello, I can create a macro in excel that will do this job for you. No need for other software, everything is included in excel. Please provide more information about the file with matches and probably we'll create a new worksheet with only first column (Ref. number) and the macro will fill the other columns with data for matched img. In my day to day job I work with Excel building reporting suites, functions and data analysis of raw data using a combination of formulas and vba code (Macros). What I would look to do with your project is add a front sheet - which would have the macro button you would press once the data is input into a tab - named something like 'Input'. The code would then carry out your requirements to match and provide the feedback - and it can be provided in whatever way you need it to be. For instance you could have a summary sheet, or you could have the results displayed in a column next to it.
