Custom Object Detection Models and Software To freelancers: Do not copy paste your bid. Please take time to read the project description and include basic outline of how you will handle the problem detailed below. Bids with no mention of an outline will be disregarded. For the purposes of this project, your requirements should be the following: • Develop an object detection script that can recognize blocks of components and on-board chips and electronics components from given photo • Develop a text extraction script that can extract the names for components and markings from PCB boards with installed chips • Develop a simple web interface that connects to the detection and extraction scripts (optional) For each component, your script will be given smart PPTX files that will formatted to provide images and information for components. The detector must have options so that I can be trained easily in the future. The detector also needs to provide a result in the shortest time possible (ideally within 25-30 seconds) since, web requests will timeout over that limit. Once the input files have been properly labeled, the output needs to be saved in the server and links to download the files must be returned to the web site. If you cannot fulfill the web interface requirement, then you need to additionally provide the following: • A detailed guide on how the script can be used • An API on top of the detector that can take input parameters and return JSON with the processed image file names and extracted text A simple UI for the website is given in the attachment below. The following dependencies are recommended: 1. Tensorflow, Keras, Numpy, Pandas 2. Flask for Web Interface 3. List any other dependencies you think are relevant The final version of the script will most likely run locally on my own computer so, you may need to help me setup. If I do decide to go for server, you may need to deploy on Linux server. Please see the attachments given and feel free to reach out for queries and clarification.
