Project details: Project Name: C/C++ code manual morphing Project Overview: A code when written by developers can be susceptible to security flaws which can prove to be severely costly for enterprises. These flaws are denoted as CWEs, a CWE (Common Weakness Enumeration) is a category system for software weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Recognising, tagging and reproducing a CWE is a sensitive and significant task which has strong repercussions if missed or if tagged wrongly. We seek experts who understand CWEs by definitions and can adapt existing examples of vulnerable and non-vulnerable code to appear to be substantively different code while exhibiting the same basic logic. Our ultimate objective is to build a sufficiently large dataset of CWEs to train reliable and accurate Machine Learning models upon. We will be providing you files with CWEs in them. You will be required to rearrange/edit the code or rewrite the code to retain the logic and the CWE signature. For example, if we give you a program to reverse two strings with a CWE in it, we expect you to edit the code in such a way that it: Alters the control flow of the program Retains the CWE occurrence
