Hello,
I am a native German speaker that is quite used to translate complex text into understandable, nice to read articles or web content. I am in this business for more then 20 years, working for several agencies and consulting various companies.
My background in medical writing goes back to developing concept and content strategy for german medical television, called Med1TV. In this context, I created concept for publication and miantenance of medical content in TV, web and print channels; developing editorial guidelines and contributing to building initial content base.
Other areas I have been working in are i.e. working as an editor for German Rowohlt-Verlag, authoring and lecturing a series of guidebooks for financial services (16 books), or authoring and translating several user manuals for soft- and hardware. In the end, I dig into new topics quite fast, get the key points and summarise them in text that even those people like to read and understand that have not deeply familiar with the topic area, before.
In this context I would like to understand, who will be the audience for the articles that need to be translated. If they are thought to address specialist audience, I would consults friends of mine that are doctors and professors in medicine, in order to proofread translated texts.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Best regards from Hamburg,
Cornelius Buchmann
