Outsourced Media Clipping

We are searching for a partner to outsource the process of clipping print media articles from newspapers and magazines. We will send you a PDF of the magazines we require clipping and you will extract from that article and break into fields: -Headline -Author -Copy of article -Publication -Date -First paragraph -Page number -Source (eg. Associated Press) -Size of article You will then upload an XML feed into our platform, it should also contain an image of the article only. It would be considered an advantage if you also provided a thumbnail image that shows the full page with the article highlighted and images used in the story. We would like you to quote on a per-page or a per-story basis. For your quote, please indicate a start-up cost that you would consider reasonable to justify the investment needed to partner with us on this project and whether that would include any stories/pages. If necessary, please indicate any minimum monthly spend you would required from us. So your quote might be: $5000 (Includes first 25,000 articles) 10 cents per article there after Minimum monthly spend: $1000 per month Please indicate likely turn-around times. While this project can be done very manually, bids that use technology to speed up the process would be considered favourably. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform XML
