We actually have an app with CCTV video playback function (HTTP and RTP streaming) implemented with using external playing application (VPlayer). We need to integrate player to the app and make it a part of application UI. The problem it shall be compatible with TPLink cameras we actually use and default Android playback component doesn't work with it in contrast to external players or VLC. Therefore some third party component like FFMpeg or lib555 should be integrated for stream decoding.
