AVL tree implementation in C++ to be used in algorithm puzzle

looking for someone who has or might write his/her own implementation of AVL tree in C++ language and than modify it so that it will work in the given task which is based on AVL tree. Fitting implementation of AVL tree to the task shouldn't be that difficult, hopefully for experienced programmer it would be just adding few lines in the sourcecode.
