We are urgently in need of a Part-Time Bookkeeper VA (45-50 hrs/month to start with could Increase with time) Our company specialist in financial advisment and funding focusing on the film Industry along with other industries. We provide back office services for bookkeeping, accounting, financial control, banking activities, finance and funding consulting to a wide range of clients. You will be closely working with the project manager for any admin or bookkeeping tasks you may be assigned. The company Is based in Iceland but the bookkeeping Is in english. Key responsibilities could include: • Day-to-day bookkeeping (PO, SO, Invoice, Bills etc) • Financial Statement Preparation. • VAT returns • Payroll • Bank & credit card account reconciliation • Account Reconciliations. • Month End Closing. • Budgeting & Forecasting Preparation/Tracking • Set-up new Company, chart of accounts and bookkeeping • Create and work with projects • Special accounting and bookkeeping tasks (pay sales tax, record depreciation,) • Generate financial reports, management reports and customize the report layouts • Monthly & yearly budget preparation and posting • Accounts Payables and Receivables management • Financial Statements Analysis • Costing and budgting Preferred skills; Experience in accounting and bookkeeping services in Xero. You must be very organised, proactive, reliable and be able to manage your own workload and deadlines.
