Hello. Have you tried opencart for ecommerce? It's easy to administrate and is focused on ecommerce, with some payment gateways already available, discounts, affiliate system, coupons and vouchers and more. I know this can be done with wordpress also but it's much more straight forward for ecommerce and you can still use wordpress if you want to write articles.
