I would like somebody with basic “macro” skills, to download a free “trial” copy of a little macro-writing program called “Jitbit Macro Recorder”. It looks like a simple, fun program to use. But I personally don’t have any experience writing macros. So, first you’ll download the free trial software from here: [login to view URL] You will use this program to write the macro, then just send it to me. Then I will be able to see the different “steps” you have included in your “Jitbit Macro Recorder” macro. In this way, (as a novice) I will learn more about macros from seeing how you have done it . . . and also learn a bit more about the “Jitbit Macro Recorder” program at the same time. I have attached SCREEN SHOTS of the web pages, to make it easy for you to see what we want to do. NEEDED MACRO: Using Jitbit Macro Recorder, create a macro that does this: FIRST STEP: (see screen shot “PAGE 1” + screen shot “PAGE 2”) * Go to a specific location on a particular displayed website screen, and click on the “Search” button (using “Jitbit Macro Recorder”, you just put your cursor over the button, then click “F2” -- that inserts the location into the macro) * Then click on the button, then wait 10 seconds * Then create an “IF” statement that says something like this: If a link with the displayed label “Display” is found ONCE on the page, then stop clicking on “Search”, and instead go to the “Display” link and click on it. If the “Display” link is found MORE THAN ONCE, go to the FIRST (top) link only and click on it (ignore any other “Display” links on the page). If there is NO “Display” link found on the page, then just wait 1 minute (60 seconds), then go back to the top of the macro, and click on the “Search” button again. SECOND STEP: (see screen shot “PAGE 3”) If there is a Display link, and the macro does click on it, then another page will be displayed (See screen shot “PAGE 3”) * Go to the button that says “Accept Job” and click on it. * Then click on the button that says “Return to List” THIRD STEP: * Send a simple EMAIL MESSAGE to 2 different email addresses (I will give you the 2 addresses. They will remain the same -- they never change) that says “Job Accepted” in the subject line. That’s all. Very simple email. FOURTH STEP: * Go back to the very START of the macro, and “loop” it forever ( continue with “FIRST STEP” and keep repeating the macro indefinitely). That’s it ! So, please go download the free trial “Jitbit Macro Recorder”, and then give me your bid for this macro-writing project. [login to view URL] I appreciate your help. Jim
