The goal of this task is to design a solution for presence tracking of employees (the time they arrive and leave to work). This tool will consist on a button to enter data to be placed on intranet (built on Sharepoint) and basic reporting tools for users and managers Functional Requirements REQUIRED - Users (employees with an Active Directory account active) must be able to add entries by clicking a button/text to be placed on the company intranet - Users must be able to view their entries - Users must be able to modify data within the 24 hours after - Users will receive an email notification at 9am if they have a missing/abnormal entry the day before (anything different than 4 entries) - Managers can see the entries of their direct employees. This is set by the attribute “Manager” on Active Directory. - Implementation of a small box (to be integrated in the customer intranet) with the following data o Button with START / STOP functionality. This button will register an entry, and will change color (green/red) and text (START/STOP) according to the current status o Total of hours for the day o Total of hours for the week - Solution only will work when accessing from specified IP ranges. If not, button is greyed out and doesn’t work ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY 1) Data will be exported to CSV format This file will be exported every day at midnight with an automated script via FTP 2) Fingerprint scanner integration. Prepare the solution for potential integration with a fingerprint reader using standard protocols Due to to time constraints, this can be left out of the project if you feel so. PLEASE REFLECT THAT ON YOUR BID Deadline for delivery 24th NOVEMBER Comments Solution must be compatible with intranet (built in Sharepoint) Code must be readable (commented) and original, so IT team can read it easily, document and potentially expand it on the future. Minimal use of 3rd party tools should be used. Deadline is fixed. No possibility to extend.
