need to write a oracle procedure Step1: First create two tables with all the below fields. Create Table A with 6 fields ( id,parentid,status,active_date,a_guid,parentguid) a_guid IS GENERATED FROM SYS_GUID Example data would be like ( ZM1234,E123,1,8/12/2016,'3D6CCE7EA5AC266DE05354D81DACF3C7','3D6CCE7EA5AD266DE05354D81DACF3C8') Create Table B with 6 fields ( guid,b_guid,c_guid,d_guid,enabled,notes) guid IS GENERATED FROM SYS_GUID b_guid is nothing but a_guid from table A c_guid can be hardcoded to '2748137A196D212AE9A7E12849E3AE2B' d_guid can be hardcoded to '18401A08893FF1C0E04014AC34015BD6' enabled will be 1 or 0 notes can be anything like "xyz" Example data would be like ( '3D1EF9E43EE85479E05354D81DACA10D','3D6CCE7EA5AC266DE05354D81DACF3C7', '2748137A196D212AE9A7E12849E3AE2B','18401A08893FF1C0E04014AC34015BD6',1,'xyz') Step2: Check the rowcount on the table A If a new row is inserted in to this table A , get (a_guid) value from the new inserted row and save it. Step3: If a new row is inserted in to table A then do the insert on Table B with a_guid value stored in step 2 in the b_guid column If now rows are inserted in to table A then dont do anything.
