Build an RSS Puller and Parser

I have a list of around 300+ RSS feeds. They are all similarly structured and I would like to have them parsed and put the meta data (date, title, image) into a database (MongoDB). I will also need basic statistics on the parsing such as [time it took to download] and [time it took to parse], just so we can monitor the feeds to see if any are taking too long, or fail. If an error occurs while parsing, you will store a simple error message in the feeds database along with the meta data. I have already designed the db schemas, so this should all be fairly straight forward :) I will be happy to work with you to make sure everything goes smoothly, and answer any questions you may have. I am only interested in hiring an individual, NOT a development company. Depending on the quality of your work and communication skills, this will likely open up to more contracts in the near future.
