I have a certificate in professional editing from the University of California Berkeley Extension School in the US. I also have two postgraduate degrees from two most reputable Australian universities. I have impeccable grammar skill and have a way with words. My current projects are: editing a full-length book for an Australian author and writing articles on EU environmental politics for a UK-based publishing company.
I can spend 10 or more hours per week if necessary. My rate is negotiable.
Here is the edited sample work.
A leader should always have a rational and realistic plan, communicate it clearly and directly to the team, and stay committed to it. For a team to work towards a common purpose, it's important that they see the objectives clearly. A leader should also empower the team, instill discipline, and make it accountable and recognize and reward as necessary.
It is easier to keep a team motivated if they see meaningful, short-term goals instead of big, long-term objectives. As achieving a short-term goal is less daunting, it keeps a team's morale high, and enables them to set higher goals with higher standard. This makes the leader's job easier to measure performance after all.
I believe, besides passion and hard work, one needs conviction and clear vision to succeed and grow. Improving skill and learning new ones should be a continuous process. Thus an engaged and driven individual move up the ladder easily. You need to believe in yourself that you can do more and better each day than what you had achieved in the past.
I hope you would find my edit satisfactory.
Sincerely,
Deena.
