We require proofreaders to check articles for errors and make the appropriate corrections. The articles need to be checked for spelling (US English), grammar, punctuation, plagiarism (CopyScape) and in some cases keyword density. This is not a rewriting job although minor rewording of the occasional sentence may be required for some articles.
The articles are on average 550 words. We are operating on a tight profit margin, so bid accordingly. Do not waste your time making high bids as they will be ignored.
This project is for proofreading 100 articles.
We handle a lot of articles which have a high standard of content and good writing style but contain various errors which need fixing to make them 100% perfect. We are looking for proofreaders who can handle this work quickly, professionally and without changing the voice of the article. Regular work will be available for proofreaders who perform well bringing the project in on time and within budget.
We own all copyrights to the articles at all times. Articles we provide for proofreading must not be used in anyway or form.
Please place your bids based on proofreading 100 articles. Do not waste your time making high bids as they will be ignored.
When bidding or pming, please quote "medialink" to show that you have thoroughly read and understood our requirements.
When bidding please give a realistic timeframe for completion of the project, since we are looking for proofreaders to work with regularly, an accurate idea of how quickly you can turn around articles is essential.
Bidders will be provided with 2 articles to proofread to test your skills, only bidders who complete this test will be considered for the job.

I am a native English speaker born and raised in the United States but have been living in Canada for the last 30 years. I have excellent command of the English language, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. I have many, many years experience working as an Administrative Assistant, editor and proofreader and would be able to fulfill your job needs with ease and accuracy.
I hold a Masters Degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto and have written articles for newspapers and magazines for many years. I provide quality work with meticulous attention to detail. I would need a bit of time to set up a Copyscape account but do not foresee any problem with that.
