I am looking for a talented senior designer with HTML skills, one that pays attention to detail and who understands usability. The standard required for this job will be high although the job is not particulary big.
The work is for a payroll company, they have online software clients use to process staff payments. The project involves re-designing the template the interface currently sits in. You do not have to create every page, but you should create the login screen and the template, you would also need to create the style of the forms, buttons and how the content will be displayed. I'd suggest you create 4 HTML pages with sample date in. You should create all style sheets and create a branding document that will allow the programmers to implement the design when integrating the templates to the database.
I have created a brief to show you what the system looks like now, how the new navigation will work and an example of a site the client likes. You will see that the old design is very dated (it was created years ago) so we need to modernize it, produce something that is clean in design that looks polished.
**
HOW TO APPLY & BID FOR THIS JOB**
Please **DO NOT send me a list of qualifications and links to all your work**. Send me a few paragraphs that show me you have read the brief, ask questions if you have any, tell me how much experience you have (number of years), show me NO MORE than 5 websites that you have designed, tell me if you have experience building templates for a software interface. Do you work alone, or do you design and a colleague creates the HTML? Send me links that are as relevant to this project as possible.
Anyone that cuts and pastes large amounts of standard copy in the bid or anyone who doesn't send me a covering post with the bid will be deleted. I need to have confidence in the person taking this job on.
## Deliverables
I will look favourably on coders that offer a Expert Guarantee
I want to work with an individual or two people (design and HTML), I don't want bids from project managers with large teams.
The links that you send me to review you must have designed yourself, do not send me the portfolio of one team member and then assign someone else.
The client has high standards, this is not a junior design job. Its not a big job but quality is KEY.
I will short list a series of designers and then give them access to the existing site so you can see how it works, and you can then adjust your bid if needed but I need to know roughly based on my brief what the costs will be.
