This project is to create a new form building tool (or modify an existing one) and put it in Dotnetnuke (latest version) as a module. We will need functionality in the tool as follows:
This tool must be a module with DNN (dotnetnuke)
It needs to allow an end user to creat, design, and build forms and must render them within dotnetnuke as well.
IT will need to be able to build/modify the tables, etc in an external SQL database when new forms are built or existing forms are modified.
The tool needs to do form validation.
The tool must have some sort of "check in/out" system for existing forms - meaning if a form is live in the portal and being used, the engineer would have to "check it out" before they could start modifying it, etc. Once done, they would "check it in" and it would go live again.
The functional idea for this tool is so that a NON developer or customer can log into their DNN portal, create forms on the fly for users, modify existing forms for users, and modify the look and feel of these forms without having to write ANY code whatsover. Everything needs to be "point and click" and must include the additional requirements specified above.
We must be able to install this new Module in new DNN environments and have it bring all the forms we have already developed in it to that installation.
Additional information may be discussed prior to accepting this project.
