C# Prototype of Hotel Rooming List App

This is a Windows Desktop app to be made with VS 2005 Beta, in C# and MS SQL Server 2000. It is an app for adding hotel guests and their roommates to a rooming list for a specific hotel. The problem is that there are no "lists per-se" in the database, they are virtually created by groups of rooming records with the same hotel_ID, tour_ID, consecutive days with the same number of records per person. For example if there are 10 single people (people with no roommates) staying 2 nights you'd have a rooming list in the datagrid like: check in - checkout - hotel name - sng - twn - trp 2006-1-1 2006-1-3 hotel Vancouver - 10 - 0 - 0 But if one person were to move to another hotel on the 2nd night (changing the hotel_ID in the rooming table) then you would have something like this: check in - checkout - hotelname - sng - twn - trp 2006-1-1 2006-1-3 hotel Vancouver - 9 - 0 - 0 2006-1-1 2006-1-2 hotel Vancouver - 1 - 0 - 0 2006-1-2 2006-1-3 hotel Vancouver - 1 - 0 - 0 The calculation of a single, twin or triple (sng - twn - trp) beds is based on the number of roommates (people with the identical same_room ID, existing in the same rooming_id). Secondly, the checkout-date is calculated by the number of consecutive nights a person stays at a hotel. The only form where editing is done is in the Form 4, which is opened when you click on Open. Please note that changes here should reflect in the datagrid, but only to a local dataset, and not actually update the database yet (we'll add that in later). Clicking on Details should bring up Form2. It shows all people for all nights of a tour. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This is a Windows Desktop app to be made with VS 2005 Beta, in C# and MS SQL Server 2000.
