PDA & PC GPS Mapping System

We are looking for a PDA (HP IPAQ) GPS solution, a near replica of [[login to view URL]][1] which will be adaptable by the end user and updateable for new maps/overlays/vector layers and spatial datasets via PC by the end user. The user must be able to add additional fields if needed and draw on maps to indicate status or change of resource and captured for reporting. Most options of handygis would be required with some further modifications to fit our exact needs. A PC backend database will extract data and compile reports as required, these will be defined upon acceptance of bid. This is a serious project and requires only competent programmers to apply, hence the value indicated for this. This will be a phased development with payments based on progress and acceptable demo's. handygis is copyright of HandyGIS, all respective trademarks and copyrights acknowledged. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
