Convert Shockwave/Director Application to run Windows Mobile 2003

We have an application that we run on Window (98SE+, usually XP or Server 2003) which connects to a Shockwave multi-user server we operate within our NOC. This small program connects to the multi-user server and allows us to instant message with our clients. We would like this program converted or updated so that it will run on some of our staffs PDA's, all Dell Axim 624Mhz X30's. Backwards compatibility isn't required, although it would be nice, even if this application is designed for Pocket PC, but runs on Windows Mobile 2003 SE. The application was written in Macromedia Director and uses the multi-user extra and a BUD API extra for the icon tray, which is not applicable to this project. All Director source files will be provided to the succesful bidder. The connection will be maintained by the onboard WLAN NIC or BlueTooth connection, usually the WLAN connection will be used. Those drivers are all included in the OS and we can configure any required connectivity options on the PDA's. The software must maintain the current design/layout/look, sound that is currently built into the application can be removed if needed. We will provide you with all source files. We've attached the EXE that we run on our workstations internally, our clients simply load a shockwave applet from the web. Unfortunately, Macromedia does not make a plugin for Windows Mobile 2003 SE or Pocket PC. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows Mobile 2003 SE (Dell Axim X3 624MHz) or compatible with Mobile 2003 SE but runs on Pocket PC.
