Adware Application

These are the basic features/components to this adware application. There will be 3 components. 1. The exe creator/application 2. The XML code that will be read by the software that's installed on the users PC to determine the correct urls. (this will be for the determination of the hyperlinks) 3. The settings which will also reside on the web server and on the local PC in which the program is installed. Adware Features: Plug in program interface. Must be able to select a file I want added to the adware exe to install. This allows me to select any file(s), add it to the adware installer and use the adware installer as a front end to extract the files (this will be called the "Installer"), it will also ask the user where they want the files. The adware application would install automatically. Basic Scenario: Someone downloads the exe or zip. There is only ONE exe file which contains the adware installer and also the unpacker for the other software. The user runs the installer which automatically installs the adware after they agree to the license agreement. Then the user is asked where they would like the "program" installed, the program would be the exe or mp3, or zip or whatever I chose in step one above to extract. I should be able to include multiple files in overall exe package. The adware program will be like that on [login to view URL] and also have the option of running HTML code on the fly is wanted. basically the program will read the HTML of the browsers current page and then highlight the search terms if they are found in the main database on one of my ad servers (to be determined). One of the most important factors for the application is that the application itself is just a front end to the web server that will determine what words and such will be highlighted and what they link to. Working on a better blueprint ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Any windows system. Internet Explorer 3.0+ If this can be done with netscape and other browsers that'd be great too.
