The project is a (web) service monitoring system for crypto-currency exchange rates. Application should be developed in javascript on node.js. * periodically fetches data from 5 bitcoin exchanges mtgox, bitstamp,… (using existing API modules) * User account information (balance, trade history) * Exchange rates and volume for available currency pairs on each crypto-exchange * User account information (balance, trade history) to be stored in database table * Current exchange rate and volume (dynamic data) should be presented on a simple webpage * Triggers a periodic event/function which can handle the user account information and currency exchange data (function is a dummy function - will be used for future development in coffeescript) Please make recommendation for the database. Code must be documented. The developer would need to have/create test account on these exchanges to test the application. Please list similar projects or web services you have created or worked with. If application works well, we will use the same developer to extend the functions of the monitoring service
