Auto update of online shop from distributor data feeds

I am setting up an online computer shop in Australia. I'm using OsCommerce for the catalog and have it basically set up how I want it. Currently I have one distributor that provides data feeds that I can feed directly into my OsCommerce catalog. However, their prices and range are not very good. So what i would like is a web-based system that can parse the data feeds off all my distributors; compare prices, availability etc; and automatically update my catalog with all relevant information. Unfortunately, not all of my distributors have data feeds, or easily accessible ones, so an additional task for this project is writing modules to data mine the online catalogs of the distributors without feeds. Also, matching products between distributors may be difficult, but i leave that task to you. Basically I want an interface written in php, preferably with ajax, that allows me to update on demand and on a schedule. In this interface, I want a list of new products to be displayed in a summary view, requiring approval for each (with a check box) before uploading. Each item in the summary should have a brief run down of the information drawn from the distributors. e.g. Product name, product image, length of description, best price, best market price (from [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]), amount in stock, my price (with a previously assigned percentage markup), product category etc. I should be able to expand information in the summary with some sort of ajax magic, be able to chose a different distributor (or combination of distributors with images and descriptions) and be able to easily edit things like description, name, price etc before approving. Also, differences in shipping costs need to be taken into account when comparing price. Once the new products have been approved, I want the price and availability to be automatically updated on a schedule. When the update task is run, I want a check for new products to be run that sends me an email informing me that there are new products waiting for approval. I also want the facility to simply search for a particular product between all my distributors so i can get a price quickly when needed. Another task I need done is a simple program that synchronizes my online inventory, customer database and orders with my accounting software (MYOB Accounting Plus 18, Australian version).
