decal design tool online

We would like to update our decal design tool display page as follows. [login to view URL] This page draws from saved boat lettering designs made by prospective customers. These decals are made here: [login to view URL] The boat name suggestion tool needs to be changed. The current format can be slow when the server is slow, and generating a new page for each user each time a thumbnail is clicked takes too much bandwidth. The primary goal is to improve the interface and response to the user and to better manage the amount of bandwidth it takes to feed this tool from the database. I want to minimize the amount of data it takes currently to use this tool. Here are the changes I want: 1. Do not build the display when a user arrives. Have it prebuilt so that the data only needs to be transmitted rather than generated each time a user clicks a thumbnail. I realize there may be several methods to reduce thumbnail generation time and reduce bandwidth so I am interested in hearing your concept in simple terms that I can understand. 2. Use fewer thumbnails so that the images can actually be larger and seen which migh reduce the number of times a user will click to enlarge it. Possibly it might be effective to eliminate the thumbnails or to design a routine that creates a permanant thumbnail for that design and you simply upload small thumbnail files. I'm not sure but I suspect these thumbnails are large files... you can tell me. 3. GIve me a footer that I can use simple link html code for other links such as to exit to our boat design tool or return to the home page. Add a menu feture to the top that switches to CUSTOM GRAPHIC boat designs that we make. This allows a customer to see our custom created designs. This data comes from us so we need to work out a simple method for me to upload pictures of our custom work and whatever typed info you might need to make it work within the structure of this existing tool. 3. Look through the code to make sure we are not causing confusion with search engines. I dont' want this routine to cause google to bypass this page for lack of comprehension of it's function. In this area, I also want a text box for me to put content I feel is relative. This is what I want you to bid on.. all the above. I've had two vendors build these routines and they were not complicated. Part 2 of this bid will be extra work that you can quote on as we accomplish these changes. It will include an option for a customer to click - design this decal now - and all you do here is paste the data from here to the design tool page and prompt them for the name they wish to use.
