This project will require a Bayesian classifier, or something very similar. Alternative solutions may be considered, but you must explain your "alternative" in your bid. The use of open-source libraries is allowed, ONLY if you specify it in your Bid. You may use any free programming language. -------------------------------------- Here is the project: [login to view URL] Please open the URL and click on some of the "classify" links to understand the discussion below. You'll notice the file is split into many chunks labeled as "tables". Ignoring the fact that they are tables, they contain text inside. Each file contains 1 Earnings table, plus 1 Balance Sheet table, plus MANY useless tables. The purpose of the Bayesian classifier is to help identify whether a table is Earnings, Balance Sheet, or Useless. The user will train the classifier by manually classifying some of the tables (using Web interface to be created by the coder). Then the program would automatically select it going forward.
## Deliverables
All variable names, files, etc, must be in English and follow commonly accepted programming practices.
* * *1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Multi-platform (the coder may choose any free language: Perl, Java, C/C++, Python, Ruby, PHP, etc).
