A simple email processor, v2

We need a program that processes incoming email sent to a specific email address. For example, suppose we create the email account invoices at our domain etc In the same server the email is received (so it can be read locally with standard tools), your program will process email as it is received and do the following: a) Save the email so that it can be easily accessed later b) The email will always belong to one of 5 or 6 categories (fundamentally depending on sender). In some categories the email will be processes by saving the attachments. In others your program will have to follow a link and save the file the link points to. c) Your program needs to classify the emails and files, by category, month, and subcategory (the subcategory only happens in one case). d) You will need to write a small website (PHP for example) that allows to search emails (by category and date range) and attachments name. When searching for emails the website will have the option to forward selected emails. When searching for attachments the website will have the option to prepare a .zip will all selected, and download or email the .zip file. Only basic website design is needed - nothing fancy but it doesn't be horrible to look at. e) All errors needs to be logged and the log needs to be useful. Useful means that for any problem the log provides enough information to know where to look. f) At the end of the day (crontab can be used for this) an email with a summary of activity and log will be sent, for example: Total email processed: 52 Category 1: 23. Succeeded 23. Failed 0 Category 2: 10. Succeeded 9. Failed 1 (see info below) .... Unknown: 4 Log: Processing email from email_address 23:10 . Assigned category was 2. Expected attachment but none was found. Possible action: See mail [this would be a link] About the price: You should know that when posting a project vworker suggests a price range, such as $100-$600. This doesn't mean that we are willling to pay $600, but rather, than the project belongs to this vworker category. Don't confuse vworker's range with our budget. Don't just bid for the maximum allowed because we will just discard your bid. ## Deliverables Notes: You can use LAMP. You can count on storage not being a problem. crontab is OK too. All standard linux tools are available, and if needed additional libraries can be installed. You will be provided access to a development site where a web server will be in place. FTP access will be provided to upload work files. There will NOT be shell access, but we can install stuff in cron for you as needed or do other changes in the system. We will only look at partial deliverables in our own system and email, never in your own server (even if you have one). Category rules are quite simple and will be explained to the winning bidder. We will also supply sample emails as needed. We want to work directly with programmers, not companies (if you are a project manager please don't bid).
