Please view the current test template here to understand the changes that need to be made:
This is what's required:
1. ability to set a particular click to launch a different page:
Scenario
a. Thumbnail has a click target of 300
b. Admin has created a page (see point 2 below) in the backend which can be selected on the portfolio page (by using a drop down menu of all site pages)
c. Admin requires visitors 34, 170, and 259 (can be upto 5 visitors) to be redirected to this new page referenced in b above.
d. all other clicks behave as 'normal' ie. as they currently do.
2. Create a custom page template with the following features:
a. Form fields which include: First and Last Name, Address (including post code and country), Tel, email (with confirmation).
b. HTML box ABOVE text fields so admin can input custom text / images to the form
c. 2 check boxes with customizable text (think terms and conditions...)
d. Submit button which when clicked closes the form and sends the form entry details to admin's email address, as well as the original portfolio page id.
3. Addition of form fields on the portfolio item page.
Scenario
a. User clicks a thumbnail which launches the portfolio page(this is what currently happens)
b. I want the user to then enter 3 passcodes in 3 form fields with a submit or an ok button which then closes the page
c. The pass codes should be assigned to each and every portfolio item via the back, via a random code generator if possible otherwise admin can use a desktop code generator tool
d. Once the visitor enters a correct passcode, the page closes, with no error or thank you message, click count increases (like it does at the moment)
e. If the visitor enters an incorrect code, an error message is shown prompting the visitor to re-enter the correct codes, page remains open
f. If the visitor doesn't enter a code, or all three, and presses submit, an error message is shown prompting the user to enter a code, page remains open
g. If the visitor closes a page with incorrect passcodes, WITHOUT pressing the submit button, the click count DOES NOT increase, click target remains the same, AND the visitor is allowed to start the click process again , until the correct codes are correctly entered and the submit button pressed the text 'visited' should not be shown.
h. Once a visitor has entered the correct codes, pressed submit, and the page has closed, the process should behave as it currently does. The user should not be able to launch the portfolio page again. On clicking the thumbnail, the user should just be able to see an inlarged version of the thumbnail and the following text at the bottom of the image: '' SUCCESS''
4. On the portfolio page that's lauched when you click a thumbnail, i'd like some changes made:
a. Replace the categories list with custom text which should be assigned on the portfolio page via the backend. The text should be in the same current format. Title should be bold, and then normal text below. Ideally two fields on the backend portfolio page to assign the required values.
b. When the button ''view website'' is clicked, could you make this open the assigned url on a new page / window / tab and not the current page as it does now.
c. remove the layout, back & forward buttons and remove the date.
d. Move portfolio page title up so it lines up with the image
I'll provide a working copy of the theme.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
