We are interested in developing an Android version our travel guide software, currently available on the iPhone.
You can see examples of the functionality of the client by downloading one of our guides, such as our Melbourne Essential Guide - [login to view URL] (Let us know if you would like a promo code to avoid paying for the download.).
Our iPhone guides use a sqlite database and an associated resource bundle with images and audio files as the information source. We would like to develop the Android guides such that they can use the same data bundle for creating the guide.
You can get a sense of the range of our guides (which all were made from an evolving trunk of client code) at [login to view URL]
## Deliverables
In addition to the features readily observable from using one of our travel guides, there are a few additional back end features that will need to be implemented. These include basic logging of user actions downloading of additional images and dynamic updates in the background.
We do not need an EXACT duplicate of the iPhone specific UI components. Feel free to propose appropriate interactions for achieving the same end using readily existing components from the Android UI library.
