Looking for a front end developer to finish converting PSD to wordpress theme. I've already got a start on it, but you may choose to work from scratch if it's easier for you. This is overflow work so looking for someone to fill in the gaps, ideally someone with a good level of experience. Coder must use subversion to check in changes; I will give url and user/pass to subversion.
Front end dev needs the following skills:
subversion (or familiar with other version control)
html5
css3
php
wordpress
creating widgets from wordpress
creating custom plugins to acheive desired functionality
finding plugins to output correct code
Much of the specific direction is in the attached images.
The major work that needs to be done is on the home page that has to be controlled by widgets/wordpress and the user. The framework is already put together. I've attached files with some of the customers information in the comp removed (you will get the full comp once you are hired. Their is a home page comp and one with the areas that require user edited content and widgets blocked off.
The code to be standard compliant, best practices html5 that is written with semantically correct code. I am a coder myself, and will be supervising the work; I require coding to be well thought out and will send it to be reworked if I'm not happy with with.
Notes in php a must.
I've worked with freelancers before, the one thing I won't tolerate is missed deadlines (within reason). I've dealt with far too many freelancers that repeatedly have excuses for missed deadlines because they're overbooked and have the craziest excuses. If this is you, don't bid.
This needs to be fluid up to 1280px. Will be responsive, but I plan to finish this myself. However, this is important to keep in mind as you code.
I need examples of the work you've done, both live and code examples. Please include a sample [login to view URL] from a project you've worked on, and give me a description of what it does.
Deadline: July 1st.
This is overflow work for me, and if I find a good contractor, there may be future opportunities.

We gone through with all the provided instructions and have following questions to ask before we confirm our final price/time estimation:
1. Gallery page need to have the photos thumbnails linked with large picture in light-box popup?
2. Forms - Please clarify what sort of information need to be appear?
3. Calendar - Assuming this will display the list of events over calendar view? Assuming it will just display the event details and it did n't have any process of booking etc?
4. Assuming "Classes", "Dive Vacations", "Local Diving", "Learn About", "Special Program" will be a textual based pages only?
5. Shop - Do you need shop section i.e. e-commerce functionality?
6. Open menu showing a large picture, so does it relevant with each sub-menu?
7. Does all other menu also have sub-menu?
8. Main Image will be slideshow or one static image?
9. Four sections below the main image is fixed to four only? or can be (+/-) as well?
10. Two Sections in the sidebar is fixed to two only or can be (+/-) as well?
11. Under Customer Saying - Latest 3 added text appear? or need control to choose which need to be appear out of total?
12. "Dive Gallery" is the name of gallery category? and when some one click on the picture then large picture need to be open in form of light box popup?
13. Criteria to list the post under "popular posts" section?
14. Under "Find us on Facebook" widget appear two graphic are fixed?
