## Deliverables
Website developer needed to create a professional photography website with a searchable photo gallery. Looking for something very similar to [login to view URL] but with a search function integrated (photo search only).
For purposes of developing this website, the photo gallery can be considered a "product catalog" with "product descriptions" being displayed for all photos; however, we do not need a shopping cart/ecommerce function. (More on this below.) The site above is a template that is available for $100, but unfortunately we cannot use this template because it is not editable and we require additional programming for the searchable photo gallery and user login/user upload features.
Approximately 8 web pages would be needed. (These include: 1. Home page; 2. Gallery; 3. Gallery Search page; 4. User Login/Register; 5. User Favorites page; 6. User upload form page; 7. About page; and 8. Contact Us page.)
Additional requirements:
1. All photos will have approx. 20 descriptive fields (ex. name, photographer, location, event, etc.) that will be displayed next to each photo. Such as the sample site shows a "product" (flowers) and its description along side the photo.
2. These fields will be linked to a database (MySQL) to make photos searchable by a basic keyword search and an advanced search. Searches will result in photos being displayed as thumbnails such as is seen in the sample site (possibly along the bottom of the screen instead of on the side to allow for more thumbnails to be displayed). Clicking on a thumbnail enlarges the photo and displays the photo description (name, photographer, location, event, etc.) along side the photo (as seen in the sample site).
3. The site will need to allow users to login and allow unlimited number of users to register.
4. Registered users will be able to save their favorite photos and view them during later visits. Instead of the shopping cart feature of the sample site, the "add to cart" button would be "save to favorites" so users can save their favorite photos to view later. However, when they view their saved favorite photos, the photo description will need to be displayed next to the photo when they click on a saved photo (the shopping cart feature of this sample site does not do that).
5. Registered users will be able to upload their own photos along with approx. 20 descriptive data input fields in an online form (some fields will include a drop-down box option) which will then be uploaded to a database (MySQL).
6. All photos and input fields will need to be approved by an administrator before they can be posted to the gallery. Ideally, there will be a simple method for the administrator to post the photos to the gallery so that each photo and its corresponding descriptive input fields (name, photographer, location, event, etc.) will be automatically transferred and displayed together into the gallery when approved by the administrator.
7. Registered users will be able to view all of their uploaded photos (and corresponding descriptions) when logged into their account, but they will not able to delete them from the master database/gallery.
8. The photo gallery needs to be unlimited in the number of photos that can be added.
9. Since users will be uploading photos of various sizes, some type of auto-sizing is desired so that all photos will be displayed the same size (as thumbnails and gallery photos) after they are approved and posted to the gallery.
10. A jukebox feature like the sample site is desired.
11. The site will need to be high-resolution for optimal photo quality yet it needs to run fast.
12. A Flash website/gallery would be nice but is not required. We will consider all programming platforms. Please indicate whether your bid is for Flash programming and/or list which type(s) of programming/platform you would intend to use.
13. The site needs to be fully editable by the administrator. For example, we need to be able to change the photo(s) displayed on the the home page and other pages. If used, Flash site/components will need to be able to be edited without the need to have Flash.
Please provide links to previous work if available, especially if you have done similar projects containing photo galleries/searchable galleries/searchable product catalogs, etc. Please also indicate which program(s) you would be using and which server platform (Windows or Linux) would be required. Additionally, please indicate what kind of support, if any, you provide after the project has been completed if any problems, questions, or concerns were to arise in the future. Thank you for your time and consideration of this project.
