VB.net Pocket PC Project

This project requires upgrading an existing eVB application to VB.net The current application works great, but we need feature changes as well as support .net The entire design will be performed by me, and you will only need to take the functional specs and requirements and just code it in VB.net and test it on the handheld. Also, this project entitles you to a continued support contract, pricing of which will be determined as a seprate contract. The application is mainly text data entry and selecting grid objects. Then a formula is used to calculate the total amount depending on the numbers entered by the user and a specific formula database that the program should refer to. The user data will be stored in sqlCE (DB table design is also provided) and the end-user should be able to view the final report as HTML as well as send it to a printer (I have a licensed printer driver for pocket pc devices). This project entails detailed working with my team to make sure it is completed in a quick timeline (around 1 month). Once your bid is accepted, I will provide you detailed overview of the project, and you have to option to honestly withdraw without any negative feedback from me, in case the project is not what you expected. However, if you go over the detailed overview, and still want to do it, then this will have to be completed without any glitches. Please repond only if you have proof of existing VB.net experience (not only eVB) and have demo applications to show. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This project requires you to use Microsoft Visual [login to view URL] and program in VB.net Compact Framework. We use sqlCE as our handheld database, and the program should work on Pocket PC 2002, 2003 and above. Unless I can meet you in person, you will need to have your OWN iPaq (with 2002/2003) to test the program. Just testing on the emulator does not help me at all.
