We have a custom in house MS Access Appplication we want to integrat it with a commercial application that does credit card processing (TakeCharge). we do have DTD files which describe the format of the messages which go back and forth to the server. So all that is needed on the integrator's end is to build the messages that go to the server, and parse the messages coming back. The transmission is done over an SSL secure socket, which is the same scheme used for secure websites (HTTPS). Through this facility, the user can control all aspects of TakeCharge, from account management to processing to settling. alternatively the integrator can implement a specific few message types corresponding to the transactions they wish to support, then perform management through our client application (which may be custom themed).
